Magazzino Italian Art presents the film, Gilardi: Tappeto-Natura, by Domenico Palma, on the occasion of the exhibition Gilardi: Tappeto-Natura at Magazzino Italian Art from May 7, 2022 through January 9, 2023. The film features interviews with the Director of Magazzino, Vittorio Calabrese, the curator of the show, Elena Re, and the artist, Piero Gilardi, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the installation of the show.
The film features commentary about the artist's life and work, the history of the artist's Nature-Carpets (Tappeti-Natura), and the evolution of his oeuvre culminating in his first solo U.S. museum exhibition at Magazzino Italian Art.
