Namsal Siedlecki: Viandante

Behind-the-scenes look of the installation of Namsal Siedlecki: Viandante.

Magazzino Italian Art is proud to present a short film titled Namsal Siedlecki: Viandante, by Domenico Palma, which provides a behind-the-scenes look into the artist’s first U.S. solo exhibition Namsal Siedlecki: Viandante, which was on view at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York from October 29 through December 4, 2021.

The short film shows a look into Siedlecki’s practice and the installation of the exhibition, which features new and recent bodies of work in a variety of media, ranging from sculpture and painting to installation. This exhibition illuminates his ongoing investigation of these concepts while taking a particular interest in themes of travel, transformation, and extinction in the artist’s practice.

The film also features interviews with the artist, Namsal Siedlecki, Curatorial and Programming Assistant at Magazzino Italian Art, Chiara Mannarino, and Magazzino’s Director Vittorio Calabrese.
